External access to the database

Opposite the database there is a Edit button, when clicked, a page with a settings form opens.

· Access to the database

This field specifies the type of access to the database, local or external.

We recommend not enabling external access unless you are using the database to connect from other servers.

· Password

Changing the password for the database, for the login specifically from this database.

· Add external access to the database

This form specifies the IP address of the server that will connect to the database remotely.

External access to the database is only available to specified IP addresses. Access will be blocked for all others.
