Point the subdomain to a third-party server.
! If you are adding a subdomain to a third-party server, you DO NOT NEED to create it (add it to the hosting panel).
This record must be entered in the DNS settings of the main domain.
To point a subdomain to a third-party server,
go to the hosting panel ,
Domains section, and click the
DNS button opposite the main domain . The domain's DNS settings form opens. Below the settings form is a button for adding new empty fields; add the required number of rows.
The screenshot below shows two options for directing a subdomain to a third-party server: A and CNAME .
In the fields with an A record, you must specify the IP address of the server to which you are pointing the subdomain. In the fields with a CNAME record, you must specify the domain to which the subdomain is pointing.
Important! The domain in the last field of the CNAME record must be specified with a period at the end.
After adding the record, save the settings by clicking the Edit table button.
